Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer

For greater freedom

A new addition to the Volkswagen ID electric range

Now open for ordering.

Demonstrators due in branch mid-August. First handovers expected late-August.

Supreme Comfort & Functionality

The new ID.7 Tourer has an impressive design and very spacious luggage area.  It has an impressive range too and sets new standards in comfort and functionality.

The USP of the Tourer version of the ID.7 has to be the voluminous luggage space!  With up to 1,714 litres available with the seats down.  With the option of adjusting the angle of the rear bench seat, using the cargo position, you can increase the boot volume up to 605 litres without having to sacrifice the use of five seats.

The 15" display screen inside gives you the option to completely customise your driving experience.  For example, the air conditioning settings can be saved individually for each user.  Intelligent air vents control the air flow and special requests via voice command include, for example, starting the steering wheel heating function and directing warm air towards the hands if the user says, "my hands are cold".

Massage seats are included as standard in the new ID.7 Tourer.  The optional 'Smart Glass' sunroof can switch from transparent to opaque.  The ID.7 Tourer comes with an optional electrically retractable towing bracket.  Thanks to 4MOTION dual motor all-wheel drive, the towing bracket is designed for loads of up to 1,400 kg.  When not needed the bracket can be folded back under the bumper.

Nice touches include a choice of 30 shades of ambient lighting in the cabin.  The ID.7 Tourer's seat cushion and backrest can be heated independently of each other as standard and there is an optional automated ventilation of the front seats.  Don't forget the augmented-reality Head-up display.

Charging and Range

Purely electric driving range is up to 374 miles (WLTP)*.  Re-charging at DC fast-charging stations is up to 175kW in about 28 minutes from 5% to 80%*.

Technology Throughout

The ID.7 Tourer is packed full of driver assistance technology, safety features and infotainment.

This really is a high-tech car with a workhorse capacity and luxurious comfort at the forefront.

* All vehicles are tested according to WLTP technical procedures. Figures shown are for comparability purposes; only compare fuel consumption, CO2 and equivalent electric range figures with other vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. These figures may not reflect real life driving results, which will depend upon a number of factors including the accessories fitted (post-registration), variations in weather, driving styles, vehicle load (and, for battery electric vehicles, the starting charge of the battery). Figures for battery electric vehicles were obtained after the battery had been fully charged. Battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. Zero emissions while driving. Fuel consumption for battery electric vehicles is not applicable. Figures quoted are subject to change due to ongoing approvals/changes and range figures may include options not available in the UK. Please consult your retailer for further information.

* Actual charging times will vary depending on various factors, including the selected vehicle (and battery option, if available), differences between UK and standard specification, the options you choose, the type of charger used, the level of charge in the battery, the age type, condition and temperature of the charger and the battery, the power supply, ambient temperature at the point of use and other environmental factors.  Charging time will be longer in cold weather.  Charging times will also be affected by the charging curve (for example, once charging passes 80%, charging will slow to protect the battery's longevity) and will be longer if battery temperature activates safeguarding technology. Figures are subject to change due to ongoing approvals/changes in model specification. Please consult your retailer for further information. The vehicle specification used in the tool may vary due to review of the model range line up throughout the year. The availability of 150kWh and 350kWh chargers is currently limited in the UK. They are mainly located on selected motorways and major arterial routes. These chargers are not currently available in Northern Ireland and numbers are extremely low in Scotland, Wales and parts of England. Please see https://www.zap-map.com/ for further details.
