A fresh design, a more flexible interior space, improved connectivity and available in a plug-in hybrid option. The new Volkswagen Multivan has enhanced standard specification compared to the outgoing Caravelle, which it replaces. That includes LED headlights, digital cockpit, lane assist and traffic sign recognition. It has up to 7 seats.
The flexible seating system allows the rear 5 seats, (which are 25% lighter) to be moved and removed. An optional 6 seater package allows the second row seats to be moved 180-degrees to create conference style seating. The full-width bench seat that featured in the Caravelle has been replaced with individual seats to allow single seats to be removed for greater configuration combinations.
The multi-function table can be moved up and down the vehicle to sit between any of the seat rows or as a centre console for the front seats

There is a choice of petrol and diesel engines and for the first time eHybrid. Not only can you enjoy all the benefits of electric for short trips, you’ll also have the reassurance of a highly efficient petrol hybrid engine for those longer journeys. What’s more, home charging takes just 3.6 hours on a home wallbox*.

Multivan has luggage sorted. There’s up to 4,053 litres of cargo capacity^, so nothing gets left behind. Getting in and out is easy too, with effortless entry and exit thanks to motion sensor electric sliding doors* on both sides.
