Škoda was proud to be the official automotive partner of Crufts Dog Show 2023 this year. This most prestigious dog event is organised by the Kennel Club and is held at Birmingham's NEC.
Škoda had a stand in the main exhibition hall featuring a podium where visitors could take selfies with their dogs. The Kamiq from the 'dog show agility' TV advert was also on display.
Škoda's model range is well suited to dog ownership, particularly the SUV range. Hand in hand (or should we say paw in paw!) with Škoda's involvement in Crufts, it is also partnering with a charity called Dogs for Good, which brings people and dogs together to help everyday life be more manageable for those with disabilities.
Škoda has donated two Kamiq compact SUVs to the charity to support their valuable work in the community. One of Dogs for Good’s assistance dogs in training is a puppy called Kami, named after the Kamiqs! The ladies at Dogs for Good said of the Škoda Kamiq:
“We use the Kamiqs multiple times a day – they’re an invaluable part of our team and we wouldn’t be without them,” says Mel, a trainer at Dogs for Good.
Puppy Coordinator, Helen, adds: “It’s really important that the puppies get used to car travel. The Kamiq is great. It’s nice and roomy inside. It’s got a great boot that we can put in an extra little crate.”
