Introducing the Škoda Epiq

The upcoming entry-level electric SUV from Škoda

Due to be revealed in 2025, the Epiq will be a compact SUV with bags of style.

Expected to be priced at around 25,000 Euros it makes the electric revolution ever-more affordable to a wider audience.

Although modern in appearance, the Epiq retains the practicality for which Škoda has become so well known.  It is 4.1 metres long and has a spacious interior with up to 490 litres of luggage space.  Not only does it look good, but it has cutting-edge digital technology and assistance features too.

Exterior looks include a 'Tech-Deck' front end with bi-functional, T-shaped LEDs for daytime running lights.  It has a solid side view with powerful 'shoulders' and attractive orange accenting and roof rails to complete.

Inside a minimalist 'Modern Solid' interior focuses on durable, practical and sustainable materials, in line with the brand's ethos.  A wireless mobile phone charger in the centre console is handy and 'Simply Clever' storage options too.

What is the expected range?

Epiq should return a range of over 248 miles on a single charge.  It also supports bi-directional charging, which means the car can feed excess energy back to the home.

This crossover car will be manufactured in Pamplona, Spain and is part of the substantial investment that Škoda and the wider Volkswagen Automotive Group are making into e-mobility in the coming years.  The Škoda Elroq, another battery-electric compact SUV, will be the first vehicle to be launched as part of the upcoming electric model campaign for Škoda cars.
