What's Different?

The front grille has a rugged look with greater aerodynamic efficiency. It has an optional lighting feature running horizontally through it with optional matrix LED headlamps too.

Thanks to the gently sloping roofline, re-designed rear bumper, spoiler, door mirror housing and alloy wheels, the drag coefficient has been reduced, meaning greater potential fuel efficiency. The cooling systems for the brakes and engine has been re-designed to increase airflow.

The Kodiaq's overall length has increased by 61 millimetres, making it 4,758mm long. Slight increases in height and wheelbase gives the interior a more comfortable space. Exterior dimensions are the same for the five and seven seat versions.

The all-new Kodiaq comes in SE, SE L and Sportline variants, as well as various Design Selections with the choice of 19" or 20" alloy wheels. The Kodiaq is offered in nine colours, two solid and seven metallic, including the new Bronx Gold Metallic you can see on this page.

Top of the range is the Sportline trim. This offers superior styling and equipment levels. Sportline also offers Dynamic Chassis Control Plus (DCC Plus) as an optional extra, which enhances the sportier styling and drive of the new Kodiaq.

The 7-seater version can be ordered with all the powertrains on offer, however, the Kodiaq iV plug-in hybrid (PHEV) Sportline is available as a 5-seater only.

The All-New Škoda Kodiaq has achieved a 5 star rating with Euro NCAP in the new style, more stringent assessment criteria.

Kodiaq's bodywork is designed to incorporate hot-formed, high-strength steel components. This steel is mainly used on the A and B-pillars, the firewall, and the tunnel console.

In an accident, the occupants are protected not only by the rigid bodywork and generous crumple zones but also by up to nine airbags, including a central airbag between the front seats.

Numerous assistance systems work to enhance safety levels further, including Front Assist with predictive pedestrian and cyclist protection, Side Assist including rear traffic alert, as well as Collision Avoidance Assist, Turn Assist, Crossroad Assist and Exit Warning.

The new Attention and Drowsiness Assist monitors driver behaviour, assesses the driver’s potential level of fatigue and triggers visual and acoustic warnings in the Virtual Cockpit if necessary.
