The family-owned group achieved a top 30 place at the inaugural Surrey, Kent & Sussex 250, a prestigious business league table which recognises the 250 high-achieving, privately-owned businesses and corporations in Surrey, Kent and Sussex ranked by growth in turnover, staff numbers and exports.
Recognising the successful vision of Managing Director Jonathan Bischoff who founded, and still leads, the company, the award is testament to the group’s commitment to first-class customer service.
Jonathan said: “My team understand that buying a motor vehicle, be it car or van, can often seem daunting. Since JCB Group’s inception, over 20 years ago, we’ve focused on good old-fashioned service in supporting motorists, where people are looked after. Customers are also concentrating their purchases around vehicles which are economical and offer value-for-money. The brands we represent fit this formula and with our influence and reach in the automotive industry, firmly covering all of parts of the South East, while offering a price match service and UK mainland delivery for the savvy online shopper; we’re becoming a first-stop for many customers in a tough market.
“Being recognised as a Surrey, Kent and Sussex 250 company is a fantastic accolade and fills us with immense pride. We’ve established ourselves firmly among the largest and more robust businesses in the South East area and it is with great privilege that we maintain our status among peers both in the automotive and in other industries, as we continue to grow our business.
Jonathan added, “I’m especially proud to have been able to continue to grow the business during a time when many others have succumbed to external economic pressures. Looking at the list of companies we sit among, I’m not only very proud to be part of a strong network of entrepreneurs, but also inspired as there is a clear and genuine sense of community among Surrey, Kent and Sussex businesses, hence the region’s success.”
