09/2020 RENAULT & DACIA RE-OPEN THEIR DOORS IN CANTERBURY THANKS TO A NEW JCB GROUP PARTNERSHIP

WOULD-BE car buyers in Canterbury now have the chance to check out both Renault and its value sister-brand, Dacia, ranges thanks South East based car giant, The JCB Group.

The retail group’s plans to open its new dealership just off the A28 on Vauxhall Industrial Road, were held up by three months due to the pandemic, but the group has now opened the doors to the facility which has been redeveloped as part of the group’s expanding portfolio.

And while the Covid-19 pandemic has devastated many businesses across the UK, with tens of thousands of jobs having been lost, this move sees a buck in that trend by creating some 20 new jobs.

Renowned for their role in motorsport and cars that are engaging to drive, the French marque’s refurbished showroom is set to be a big draw to all, especially for existing Renault and Dacia customers who have been without a main dealer in the area for over a year.

Budget conscience shoppers will be drawn to the appeal of Dacia, who have successfully created a range which matches reliability with value for money, offering the most affordable new car on sale today, as well as the cheapest supermini, estate and crossover on the market.

The Dacia Sandero starts from just £6,995, which is less than half the price of a similarly sized Vauxhall Corsa and Ford Fiesta, making it Britain’s cheapest new car by a big margin.

The all-singing, all-dancing dealership consists of an 8 car showroom with popular models from the Renault range including the all-new Clio and Captur, as well as the full range Dacia’s, on-site customer hospitality, aftersales and servicing facilities for both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The opening on the 22nd September of JCB Renault Canterbury is the latest move by the JCB Group which has been expanding is business organically and through acquisitions throughout Kent and Sussex in a bid to meet a gap in the local market and customer demand. .
