CUPRA Bucks The Trend For Fleet Registrations

Success for the 100% electric Born and Formentor e-Hybrid

21/03/2023

CUPRA has seen a 42% increase in its fleet sales in 2022, bucking the fleet industry trend for a 7.5% decrease in overall registrations.

Its success seems to be down to the competitive total cost of ownership figures for fleets and company car drivers of the Born and Formentor models particularly.

Couple that with the launch of the Volkswagen Group's leasing company portal online - for leasing company partners and direct communication with customers - and you have the key to CUPRA's success.

CUPRA UK have worked hard during 2022, battling the supply chain challenges faced by the motor industry, to deliver an exceptional service. The CUPRA Born has also launched successfully into the EV sector. CUPRA has ambitious plans for growth in 2023. With strong residual values and low running costs, the total cost of ownership figures for the range are very competitive. Both Born and Formentor e-Hybrid have impressive fuel efficiency rates to boot.

Over the coming two years, CUPRA plans to introduce 3 new electrified models to the line-up. These will be the plug-in hybrid Terramar SUV, the fully electric Tavascan SUV and the UrbanRebel, a small BEV for urban driving.
