The fully 100% electric Renault Kangoo E-Tech has zero emissions. It has the same generous load capacity as the diesel versions of the Kangoo but with ultra-low running costs.

Charging your Renault Kangoo is straightforward. You can use a standard public charge point on the street or in a car park. This would usually take about 6 to 9 hours. From a wall mounted home charging box (7kW) re-charging would take approximately 6 hours. The battery is guaranteed for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever is the sooner.

Let’s look at the range of technologies designed to assist the driver and passengers for a smooth and comfortable ride.

Energy Recovery – to optimise the range of your Renault Kangoo E-Tech technology has been adapted from the Formula One world. The Kinect Energy Recovery System (KERS) was developed to provide a power boost to racing cars, but Renault have re-purposed it to recover lost energy as soon as the driver takes their foot off the accelerator. Real Time Range monitoring tells you whether you are consuming or recovering energy.

Pre-Heating Or Cooling – Whatever the weather you can remotely set the heating or cooling to come on when the vehicle is on charge. That way you enter the vehicle at the perfect ambient temperature when you’re ready to go. With My Z.E Connect you can also start vehicle charging remotely or keep track of the charge level.

Eco Mode – an ECU map in the vehicle’s central computer monitors the throttle and power units to maximise the energy available – often saving up to 10% of the driving range. As the E-Tech is so quiet, the ‘Voice’ feature emits a sound to warn pedestrians that your vehicle is coming. Active between 0.6 and 18.6 mph this gives you peace of mind with urban driving.

The Renault Kangoo E-Tech is loaded with technology to help you whilst on the road. Voice control, steering column controls and Bluetooth help you to make calls, navigate, listen to tunes and control the cruise control speed.

Options on partitioning, bulkheads, anchorage points, crew cabs, storage, access doors and ply-lining are all available.
