The Renault Rafale will be available in 3 versions and 1 powertrain.

All with E-Tech Full Hybrid 200hp technology, there is the Techno; Techno Esprit Alpine and the Iconic Esprit Alpine.

Packed with the latest driver assistance and comfort technology, safety features and essential connectivity/infotainment, the Renault Rafale brings you a world of pleasurable driving. It's efficient too, with up to 683 miles of range.

Some great novelty features include the ingenious rear armrest - this has storage functionality, 2 x USB-C ports and cup-holders, which swivel to also turn into smartphone/tablet device holders. The solarbay opacifying sunroof blends into segments on demand. It has four settings and its operation can be controlled using a button on the roof or Google Assistant with voice control. And what about the clever QR code fixed to the front and rear of the vehicle, giving emergency rescue services key information to save time - Renault QRescue.

High Performance With Passenger Comfort

With an efficient 200hp E-Tech full hybrid powertrain and enhanced technological breakthroughs the Rafale is ranked high-performance and will boast a new E-Tech 4x4 300hp plug-in hybrd version too. This SUV hybrid coupé has a vibrant feel and look.

Up-to-the-minute connectivity, plenty of space and great passenger amenities make driving a priority, but with comfort for passengers too.

This car will be a range-topper with crossover/fastback/SUV styling. The CEO of Renault, Fabrice Cambolive, describes the Rafale as "central in the Renaulution, and symbolises our move upmarket".

Inside, the Rafale will be equipped with a Harmon Kardon sound system, Google-based software, a 12" infotainment screen and a 12.3" digital dashboard.

What does Rafale mean?

The Rafale's name goes back to the era when Renault made aeroplane engines and manufactured the Caudron-Renault Rafale plane in 1934. You can see it's shadow in the background of the latest promotional imagery.
