How is electric vehicle servicing different?

As electric vehicles do not have combustion engines, an electric service differs slightly from a traditional petrol or diesel service.

Amongst other things, we check and test your EV's battery pack, electric motors and its high-voltage electrical system.

There are many other components that are standard to both electric, hybrid and internal combustion engine vehicles, so it's important to check those too.  That is, for example, brakes, suspension, tyres, filters, shock absorbers, lights and fluids.  We also check safety items such as air bags and seat belts, and run computer software updates.

It is important not to attempt electric vehicle service and maintenance at home, as the high-voltage of the electrical system can be dangerous if you don't have the proper instruction.
