Link your CUPRA to your smartphone and make a connection

Connect your smartphone to your car using the My CUPRA App and feel how far your connection to your CUPRA goes, even when you're not driving it.

What features can I access when connected?

  • Drive Smarter - track your speed, mileage and distance with precision and real-time insights.  Optimise every journey.
  • Your Words Are Commands - dictate messages, navigate with voice commands, or stream radio and podcasts.  CONNECT upgrades your drive with enhanced infotainment.
  • Always Protected - in the event of breakdown or accident your CUPRA will automatically initiate a call to the Roadside Assistance Call Centre for immediate support.
  • Feel The Power - Control your CUPRA wherever you are.  Lock and unlock remotely, check windows, lights and fuel/power levels.  If the alarm is ever disconnected, you'll receive an instant alert.
  • Navigate With The Latest -  Plan ahead, drive smarter and customise your journey from the comfort of home by sending destinations directly to your car.  Real-time alerts about  speed limits and restricted zones keep you one step ahead.
  • Discover Peace Of Mind - locate where your car is parked and activate the hazard lights to guide you straight to it.
  • Your CUPRA Service Partner, By Your Side - When it's time for service or if a warning light appears, there's no need to worry.  Your JCB CUPRA service centre will be automatically notified and be in touch.
  • Remote Charging - With your electric or hybrid CUPRA you can programme charging during off-peak hours, monitor battery levels and start or stop charging anytime, from anywhere.
  • Determine Your Ideal Temperature - Electric and hybrid CUPRAs can also have some features controlled remotely - such as climate control.
  • Always In Control - With the App you're always in control.  You can know exactly what electric range you have. You can also find the nearest charging station and see opening hours on screen.

 Online Media (Apple Music) and Internet Radio require additional data use. You can either use your smartphone as a hotspot connected to your car Wi-Fi, or get an extra Data Plan for your CUPRA through our mobile communications partner.

¹All software updates are covered under the CONNECT Safety and Service package which is covered for 10 years.  If you have not enrolled or renewed your SEAT for twelve months, you will be prompted to renew your subscription for other CONNECT services such as Remote Access.  Please note that this is not mandatory.       

²All users are considered Guest Users when they first log in to a connected vehicle. To access the full suite of CONNECT functions, including remote software updates, the vehicle must have a Primary User assigned. 


³CONNECT users can choose from four different privacy modes which determine the level of data sharing from the vehicle. Maximum Privacy mode is often the default mode when CONNECT enrolment is first carried out but this will not accept any remote software updates. Users who have left their vehicle in this mode will need to change it temporarily to a more open setting.

CUPRA CONNECT is available for GEN3 cars (Leon, Ateca and Formentor) and GEN4 cars (Born).
