JCB Brands

Our Company History

The JCB Group was established in December 1998, with its first branch in Gillingham, Kent.   With only 35 employees and a turnover of £11 million the business has now expanded to 260 employees over 11 sites, covering 6 different brands - and a turnover in excess of £100 million.

Realisation of a dream

Our Managing Director, Jonathan Bischoff, had a dream of owning and running his own dealership, believing quality brands matched with detailed local business knowledge was the ideal formula for business success in the motor industry.

After studying financial services and working in vehicle sales for various high-end brands, Jonathan was selected to become one of the first Volkswagen Sponsored Retailers. With joint funding, and at the age of only 28, (the youngest ever Volkswagen business owner) Jonathan set about his goal of becoming a successful and customer-oriented retailer.

Company Values

Our company values are based on choice, care and convenience for our customers.

Our staff are at the heart of our business and are what makes the JCB Group so successful.  Jonathan, the Managing Director, has worked in many roles in the car industry and therefore understands the challenges our staff face in their attempt to give the best service possible to every one of our customers.
