We're excited to announce that Volkswagen have just released details of the pricing and specification of the New Transporter Kombi and the New Transporter Shuttle on the T7 platform.
Both models will be open for ordering from 19th June 2025 in the UK.

New Transporter Kombi
Designed to offer maximum utility whilst still providing a comfortable ride, the Kombi's interior suits both crew and cargo. New Kombi has a choice of 5 diesel versions, all 2.0 litre in manual or automatic, or 3 electric versions, ranging from 136PS - 286PS. An eHybrid powertrain is expected in 2026.
Regarding pricing, the UK launch of the Kombi will include two trim levels - Commerce Plus and Commerce Pro. Prices will start at £33,995 + VAT for TDI models, and £43,315 + VAT for electric. The Government plug-in grant has been applied for but pending approval.
Kombi comes with 5 seats as standard, but there is an option for a 6-seater configuration too. You can choose between short and long wheelbase versions. A high roof variant is expected in 2026.

New Transporter Shuttle
Looking for a passenger carrier that's practical, stylish, comfortable and offers great value? Here comes the New Transporter Shuttle on the T7 platform!
Positioned below Volkswagen's Multivan and ID.Buzz People, the New Shuttle is a commercial people carrier that fleets and shuttle operators will love. It seats up to 9 passengers and has enhanced flexibility, driving dynamics and space.
Shuttle will be available with a choice of powertrains. This includes 3 diesel versions in manual or automatic; and 3 all-electric versions ranging from 136PS - 286PS. An eHybrid powertrain is expected in 2026.
For launch in the UK, Volkswagen is offering 2 trim levels for Shuttle - Life and Style. Prices start with 'Life' at £36,995 + VAT for TDI models and £45,865 + VAT for all-electric models. New Shuttle comes with 8 seats as standard, but with a 9-seater configuration available too. There is a choice of short and long wheelbase versions.
As with the Kombi, the Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle has all the latest safety features, infotainment, passenger comfort and driver assistance technology. The driver gets lumber support and both front passengers have arm-rests and adjustable head restraints. On-board passengers have LED lighting, 7 USB sockets in the cab and 6 USB sockets in the passenger compartment, so everyone is happy!
