SMART Protect provides a small body repair system that will keep your vehicle in showroom condition, without compromising your no-claims bonus.
SMART Protect covers your vehicle against the cost of minor damage caused by everyday motoring and we do not exclude business usage. This facility ensures your vehicle remains free from chips, minor dents, light scratches and scuffs.
You can make an unlimited number of claims over the policy period, up to a maximum aggregate claim benefit of £3,000.

The SMART Protect policy covers:

- Bumper scuffs not exceeding 30cm in diameterThe SMART Protect policy excludes:

How does it work in practice?
‘Shine’ are the mobile repair fleet who fix minor damage for our customers who protect their vehicles with our “Smart” insurance. ‘Shine’ specialise in small, ‘smart’ repairs to vehicle paintwork. That is, if you get a scuff or dent from a supermarket trolley, a scratch from a tree branch or some such spoiling of your vehicle’s paintwork, then ‘Shine’ could fix it, free of charge, with no excess payment – at a time and location of your choosing!

Shine Repairs' mobile paintwork repair specialists are the best in the business and carry all the tools and equipment needed to come to your vehicle and bring it back to as good as new. Their sophisticated paint colour matching technology means that you not only get the manufacturer paint colour match, but the batch number too, meaning that any minor differences in the shade of paint will be picked up and matched EXACTLY! A swatch sample is prepared before the job is started, to make sure of the colour match and then the job is completed. The ‘Shine’ team can work anywhere – come rain or shine – they have portable temporary structures to shield the car.
