  If Carlsberg made second-hand car salespeople, they would probably be called Pre-loved Vehicle Specialists and work hereWhile looking for a replacement vehicle, we tried a number of dealerships and websites. We had very particular requirementsgood headroom, comfort, fuel efficiency and, importantly, a vehicle that suited our needs rather than simply being new. Most places seemed to lose interest when they realised we weren't looking to buy a brand-new car. Fortunately, we found Matthew. Matthew is one of the most relaxed, calm and knowledgeable automotive professionals we've encountered. Rather than trying to sell us something, he took the time to understand ourWhylistened carefully to what we actually needed and, with the patience of a saint, helped us work through the options. After a few test drives, we eventually agreed to purchase a Renault Arkana. This is a very well run business, I have experienced far worse service buying a brand-new vehicle from a main dealer. The attention to detail from Matt, Elise and Darryl, the Sales Manager, they really set the scene for an excellent experience. Nothing was too much trouble. There was a minor issue with the vehicle not due to any deficiency of the company which I won't go into here. It was important to us, and we were genuinely impressed by the way it was handled. Rather than making excuses or passing the problem around, the team willingly and professionally adopted a positivecan-doapproach and worked with us to find a solution. We've now enjoyed the car for a month and it's the very pleasant relaxed buying experience that stands out. The car has a full service history, very low mileage and was handed over to us in excellent condition. Most importantly, that minor issue was properly addressed and resolved to our complete satisfaction. We simply cannot fault Mattor, indeed, anyone or anything about JCB Renault Ashford. This is how a business should operate. They take the time to understand yourWhythey work together as a team to match the right vehicle to the customer's needs, and don't resort to pressure selling or any of the behaviour you might traditionally associate with buying a second-hand car.   This was my first time after 22 years, to go out shopping for a used car as my previous one which I bought brand new was written off by the insurance company. We had visited one of the JCB Renault dealership in London before we decided to try out the Rainham branch after seeing the great reviews online. The communication with Ted from my initial telephone conversation to the handover of our Renault Captur was absolutely brilliant. He is an effective communicator with clarity, empathy and good listening skills.He was very knowledgeable of the cars in the dealership. My husband and I felt well looked after and we were provided with comprehensive responses to our queries. Our car insurance claim took longer than expected, but Ted was very patient and never rushed us into making any alternative arrangements/decisions.   Recently purchased a Dacia Duster from this dealership in Rainham Kent and from the start to the finish we were looked after by Ted, who greeted us and managed to source our exact requirements and handled our purchase right to the end. He was friendly, efficient and easy to deal with, no hard sales pitch or pressure. He was happy to answer all our questions and made all the technical paperwork easy to manage and we felt safe and happy in his hands. It's a big commitment and big decision but he made it very stress free and a great experience. We are very happy with our Duster, and glad we made this choice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this garage, all staff we spoke with were extremely polite and approachable.
