What is 'Aftersales'?

Aftersales is basically everything that is available to your car or van after it has been handed over to you. That is, servicing, accessory fitting, maintenance, repairs, checks, MOTs and recalls. Each of our branches has a dedicated Service Team and Parts Department to deal with everything you could need that falls under 'Aftersales'.

We have a whole team of manufacturer trained and audited staff to look after your vehicle including:

Service Advisors

Service Advisors are the first people you will see or speak to. They take your booking and establish what you would like our team to check out. On the day of your visit they act as customer champions, tracking and checking on your vehicle's journey through our workshop. They have already prepared everything needed for your visit, in conjunction with the Parts team. Service Advisors will call you if anything is needed for your vehicle and when all is completed, they will call you to take payment, if necessary, and confirm the collection arrangements. Some branches also have digital self-check in kiosks which can help if you're checking in at a busy time.

Technicians

Our team of highly trained specialists are called Technicians. They look after all the mechanical, technical and electrical aspects of maintaining and servicing your car or van and all its safety, assistance and information systems. They have all the specialist tools they need, supplied and maintained by the manufacturer. Our Technicians are fully accredited by the manufacturer and are trained and updated regularly. Selected Technicians have received specialist training to work with electric vehicles. Once they have diagnosed or checked your vehicle, they will send your Service Advisor a video of the work due or completed so that it can be sent to you for approval or information.

Parts Teams

The parts teams work behind the scenes to furnish the workshop will all the items they need to complete the job. You can also purchase spare parts, accessories and branded merchandise from them to complement your car or van. They supply genuine manufacturer parts which carry a minimum of 2 years' warranty, so you are guaranteed a quality product. Accessories are made by the manufacturer to precisely fit your make and model.

Auditing

Who checks the experts? The JCB Group difference is that we have an internal audit team. They work with the manufacturer audit teams to constantly check the systems and procedures in place behind the scenes to ensure that the Aftersales service you receive is second to none. Any faults or recalls are immediately alerted to us by the manufacturers and you are contacted to bring in your vehicle at your earliest convenience for a safety check. Workshop and tooling safety is constantly checked too. This ensures a top quality experience for your vehicle.
