We have recently started a lease deal through the business for an ID Buzz. The process from start to finish was very smooth and stress free, and the support from Sanj was first class throughout. Communication was excellent, and Sanj was always quick to respond on any questions i had. If you're looking to take on a VW in Medway, i'd recommend asking to speak with Sanj!

I had the best experience at VW Gillingham! I can not thank Paul enough, he was amazing! From start to finish, I came in knowing what I wanted and he was able to meet all that and more. Everyone there was friendly. Paul was never pushy, gave me time to think and weigh up my options. I had a great experience with Sanj at VW Ashford. He really took the time to find a lease deal that worked for me – something affordable, within my budget, and with a quick turnaround. I was amazed that he managed to arrange delivery within just a few weeks. Knowing that I struggle with weekday availability, he very kindly arranged for the car to be dropped off near my work, which made things so much easier. The driver who came with him was also really friendly and helpful, which made the whole handover feel relaxed and pleasant. Sanj was always so nice to chat with – it genuinely felt more like speaking with a friend than a salesperson, and I look forward to keeping in touch. When he delivered the car, he wasn’t in any rush to leave and took the time to make sure I understood everything I needed to about the car. He was patient, helpful, and happy to answer any questions. The only slightly negative experience I had during the process was with VW Tunbridge Wells, where I initially enquired. I didn’t feel they were particularly interested in helping as the car was being leased rather than purchased directly, so I assume there wasn’t the same commission incentive. The experience with Sanj at VW Ashford, however, was the complete opposite and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I have just collected my new car, having decided to order it from JCB Volkswagen in Ashford Kent. The decision was made easy as the team could not have been more helpful with the whole process. Sanj took numerous calls from me to clarify some requirements but always was cheerful and was so excited when the car was delivered to the dealership. Picked up my Brand new Polo R-Line today from Brandon and can honestly say he was a pleasure from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and he was great to deal with. Went in to have the car's MOT and service done. Ended up buying a new car instead. If you need anything 100% make sure your appointment is with Tom Hansen - Made the process smooth, worked a decent deal, pillaged the manager and went above and beyond what I have seen from nearly all carsalesmen I have had dealings with.

The service support at JCB Medway is outstanding. And the team so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Bought my ID3 there because of the clued up sales team. Happy to let me take a couple of test drives; better part ex than rivals (without the need for ‘sales games’). Likewise on the ID3 price. Now, 5 years later, way out of warranty, an instant fix, when I turn up unannounced, with my key fobs having somehow both unpaired themselves from the car. One cup of coffee later, I’m on my way. No charge either, for a regular customer. Outstanding support. Car’s a good ‘un too.

Car was at VW JCB Medway for a service and MOT under a service plan. The booking process was straight forward, I booked it online and they e mailed me to confirm some details. Requested time and date was fine as I booked well in advance. Car drop off was speedy and efficient, work done and car ready by 1pm. Collection of the car was also efficient and all promised work was carried out correctly. Unfortunately I can’t give 5 stars as no video walk around of the service was provided and the car was not washed upon collection.

Just got my new Golf recently from Ashford branch! Loved the service and how friendly, helpful and informative Sanj was throughout the process! I have just purchased a new VW Golf R-line through Davinder Rajput at Tunbridge Wells, who also sold me my previous Polo. Dav was extremely helpful throughout the buying process and was always available to answer my questions as and when they arose. When I collected my new car, Dav spent time explaining the instruments and infotainment system and ensured that I was happy with everything before I drove home. Dav provides excellent customer service and I highly recommend him. However, I was unable to complete the customer survey as it would not allow me to change Medway to Tunbridge Wells.

Recently brought the R Line Tiguan from VW Gillingham and it has to be the best car I’ve had for a long time. The car itself is very stylish, powerful and more economical than my previous. However, the customer service we received from VW, in particular Alex Goodger, was excellent. From the moment we walked into the showroom Alex greeted is, he listen to what we wanted and took the time to show us what was on offer, nothing seemed too much. Once we saw the car we wanted, he took the time showing us around it and even let us take it for a test drive. Alex Goodger offers exceptional customer services and is a true asset to VW. Would highly recommend VW to anyone because of our amazing experience.

Having had an awful experience with another VW dealer I was anxious about using another own. I purchased my car from salesman Alex Goodger. He is hands downs the best car salesman I have dealt with. Friendly , polite , helpful and very good and getting back to you. I left this review a few weeks go see how the car was- unfortunately a few warning lights came on. It was a used golf 20 plate. A great place to buy a used car from. Callum sent me a video and commentary of the car I planned to buy to save me an unwanted journey, and it was so informative. I was in Birmingham, so it was a long journey. As it turned out, I had a lovely day out on the train, was greeted by a very friendly receptionist on arrival, and Callum tidied up the paperwork very efficiently. I’m very happy with the car (odds and sods which weren’t perfect were sorted out at no additional cost) and a new MOT was provided also at no cost. All in all, I was delighted with the whole experience. This is an excellent place to buy a used car.

Just taken delivery of a used Golf Estate. All I can say is I've received nothing but excellent service. Paul in sales couldn't have been nicer. When I first went to view the car it turned out to be already sold but the sale fell through and he called me straight away and arranged a test drive. Of course I wanted the car but was going on holiday for two wks. Paul sorted everything out, got the tow bar fitted and paint scratches rectified for when I returned. All I had to do was pay and drive away with a full tank of petrol. The prep staff have done a luvly job of cleaning, even giving a final wipe over when I collected it. Great service. Barry.

I took my Cupra Born into JCB Volkswagon Medway Jan 29th 2025 who investigated what for me was worrying suspension noise. Its a trek for me from Essex via the Dartford crossing but the visit was very reassuring. The staff could honestly not have been more helpful. Reception and Service reception, Charlotte, arranged at short notice a test drive for me with a technician. Adam, the technician, was so very helpful and went the extra mile to check the car out for me on the ramps which provided the reassurance that I needed that the car was safe to drive. From the moment I contacted him through to final delivery he was professional, reliable, informative and a genuinely decent person to deal with. Sanj at JCB VW helped me along from the beginning when I first showed interest in an ID4. From organising a test drive and online brochures and videos to help me make my decision. Once the car was ordered Sanj was very quick and efficient with getting contracts etc sent out , and always quick to reply to any queries I had sent him by email. Overall very satisfied.

We didn't get the car (I liked the ID4, missus not so much) but Grant was excellent at arranging the appointment, following up and the test drive. Even before the appointment, in passing by, I made a flying visit to the dealership and he was affable and accommodating and provided the key for me to get a stationary feel of the car. The dealership atmosphere was also friendly and welcoming.

I have just purchased a car and dealt with Alex. My first experience at this branch many years ago was great. And my recent visit was just as good. Being in a customer service/sales role myself I really did appreciate being greeted by the team who sat me with Alex, who I'd spoken with on the phone. The car I'd seen online wasn't best suited to me so Alex went through a few other options. Found a great car and cannot fault the service before purchasing and after sales. Really happy with the service received from JCB Volkswagen Medway, especially Grant. Have used them before when I owned a VW Beetle so had no doubts returning. We had been let down by another garage and only by chance, searched JCBs site. Found a car that was at another branch and also different make/model to VW. We thought we would have to travel to that branch. No, they arranged for the car to be brought up to Medway. Everything was ready when we viewed the car. Part exchange was a simple process and everything was explained. Collection and handover of the vehicle was also a simple and stress free transaction. Very happy and would definitely recommend.

Just purchased a car through JCB Volkswagen Gillingham, and the process was smooth and easy. Phil, the sales advisor who helped the entire way through, is an absolute asset to the company. He took the time to explain little details to me when I didn’t understand, but never once made me feel silly. I have always driven manual cars, this was my first automatic so Grant kindly gave me a quick driving lesson to help me get accustomed to the car, which helped a great deal. The car is lovely and very easy to drive. I will definitely go to Grant again when choosing my next car and would highly recommend Grant to anyone who is looking to purchase a Volkswagen, he is knowledgable and always happy to help.

Ordered my new golf GTI nearly 2.5 years ago finally got it 10 days ago due to covid, Ukraine etc. Alex thankyou so much for continously chasing up for details and putting up with me emailing ringing all the time. I was worried about the delivery being over 200 miles away but was reassured by Alex and should have trusted him the car came perfect. I have had 5 new vw's from local dealer's and never came away with them on delivery day due to various issues1 had to go back 5 times. Not with medway and Alex perfect first time and a phone call to make sure it was. I cannot recommend Alex and Medway enough. I will definitely back to buy my next VW from them. Would have given 6 stars if I could have.

I have always found JCB to be transparent, honest and professional. There is a family feel when you walk through the doors, the same that I experienced when I was working there in 2000 after working for the owners father in a previous garage. JCB seemed the right place to come when I no longer had a company car or worked int the motor trade. James Calloway always looks after me and makes sure I have the best deal. This has been the case for over 15 years. My first car was a Volkswagen in my 50’s I’m still loyal to the brand. My children have VW’s from JCB and I’ve purchased one for my staff to use as a company pool car. Classics never go out fashion! My latest car has experienced a lot of technical issues, I no longer live in Kent so tried several local service centres for the convenience of my location. None managed to fix the issue after copious trips. JCB have always managed to get the car looked at when it’s been faulty accommodating me as quickly as they can. While there are still software problems randomly appearing, the master tech has been on top of it and given me confidence that it’s not me but the car. My Golf will be back for more warranty work this month. While this is frustrating, I know it’s in safe and knowledgable hands.

I am soo pleased with my car, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Paul was really helpful and friendly he really looked after me and always kept me up to date with my many emails he would always reply even on his days off went he above and beyond to make sure I was able to pick the car up on the day I was hoping! Would definitely recommend!

Had a fantastic experience at JCB VW. Called ahead on the Saturday and the lovely Paul was free and able to see us within 30 minutes. I went in with a list of requirements (a used reliable Polo with a a warranty and finance) and immediately had a couple of choices for me ready within a week. Paul made the experience of buying a car so easy and straightforward, answering all my questions and ensuring I had everything I needed. He made sure to get the car polished before I collected it and set my phone up on the car before I left. I would highly recommend the dealership and of course Paul who was kind and thoughtful throughout the process.

Purchased approved used T-Cross. Extremely happy with the vehicle and the courteous, professional and friendly salesperson Paul who managed to get the car serviced and cleaned in 3 days so I could collect it on my birthday. The car was spotless and was promised new mats when they arrived to replace the slightly worn out ones currently in there. Edit: As of now still no mats!

Grant was so helpful and friendly. He explained everything fully, made sure I was happy with all the information and what was covered especially as he knew I’d had a bad experience with an independent car garage. I have recently bought an approved used VW Up from JCB Volkswagen Medway. My sales contact was Grant Nixon, and he was absolutely fantastic! He spent a lot of time with me when viewing the car, answered all my questions, and took note of any issues I wanted to get clarified/corrected. When the car was delivered to me he had fully kept all promises - everything was as expected down to the smallest detail. Lovely car - very happy with it - and Grant even followed up with an after sale courtesy call. Very impressive customer service!

Recently taken delivery of a new Tiguan on the Mobility Scheme. The service we received from Grant at JCB was second to none. The process, one we were not familiar with, was easy and straightforward. Just bought my new car from the online sales team of James and Eveie, due to post pandemic issues it was a while to be delivered. Email enquiries were dealt with very quickly and efficiently, the car arrived and was prepared quickly for me to pick up in a hassle free manner. I received outstanding customer care delivered by the service team a few weeks ago after my car developed a number of problems, which turned out to be caused by a faulty ABS sensor. I contacted the service team after the problems occurred on June 14th and understandably they were unable to offer me an appointment until after I was due to leave for a three week holiday on the 22nd, for which I needed the car. When I explained I needed the car, the team confirmed that if I could get the car into you that day (June 15th) they would endeavour to do the work in time for me to get the car back for my holiday. This I did and the team were able to do the work for me to collect the car on the 20th. I cannot thank the team enough for their help in getting the work done under the warranty at such short notice and would have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone looking to purchase and / or have a car serviced.

Called JCB Volkswagen at Gillingham (Medway) this morning for a minor part replacement which I didn’t trust myself to fit. Called at 8.15am and it was all done and fitted and I was back home just after 9am! Great service and I was very happy to get it sorted so quickly, which meant I was not inconvenienced at all. Many thanks to all at JCB.

Would recommend good customer service even delivered the car all the way too Liverpool and gave me a guide through how everything works, sorted all paper work out and made it very easy for me so big thanks Bod for everything and it was a pleasure meeting you and thanks Amy the receptionist for putting up with me when I had to ring a few times due to Bod being busy but would always get back to me, If you’re looking to buy a used Vw take a look at Medway and there 2years warranty 2years roadside assistance and 2years mot offer be hard to beat

The service team are great at JCB Medway, had a few issues with my new vehicle (not their fault!) and they went out of their way to accommodate my ability to get the car to them and make sure I wasn’t too inconvenienced. They have kept me fully up to date, Charlie particularly went the extra mile!

Picked up my new Golf yesterday after a very speedy turn around by the team having only just received the car onto the country. My whole experience of buying from this company has been brilliant. Phil who sold me the car made sure I got the right car for me and found the quickest way to for me to have a new car. He spent 2 hours going through everything about the car with me, (even continuing once the showroom closed) ensuring I feel happy and confident with my new purchase. The service I received from Phil went over and above.

Picked up my new car this week after an 11 month wait (due to semiconductor shortage and other supply issues due to Ukraine). No fault of the dealer. They always replied promptly if I had questions during the ##. The handover process was no fuss, quick, organised with none of the other pointless theatrics that I have previously had at other dealers. James Callaway and the team had fully charged my car and even made me an additional rear plate for my bike rack which was greatly appreciated. James showed me the basics of the car and off I went. A fantastic service, fantastic price and well worth the 155 mile each way trip to collect the car. Thanks very much, will use again.

I picked up my new Polo GTI yesterday, ordered through Drive the deal. I was quoted mid November for delivery but it came early which was perfect. James and Eve kept me informed all the way. The best thing was the price I save thousands ordering from JCB, no local dealer to me could come close on price.

Fantastic service from start to finish! Taking into consideration the current set backs with purchasing new cars during the pandemic causing ##s I was offered options suitable in a quick turnaround. The salesman (Phil in Gillingham) always goes above and beyond to ensure the process is as straight forward as possible. I am so thrilled with my new polo, lots of new functions and such a comfortable drive. I wouldn’t purchase from any other dealerships and would always highly recommend JCB group to friends and family.

Visited both the Citroen Rainham and VW Gillingham sites looking at cars, both sites had friendly staff who were happy to spend time talking to us about the vehicles. We purchased a nearly new car from the Gillingham branch and px-ed our old car. Showroom was clean and tidy, staff were polite, and we are very happy with our car which we drove away several days later after a service and clean.

Excellent service from Kam @ Jcb Medway. I Saw The Golf on Autotrader. I Emailed and Kam called me from the dealership that evening when he should of been on his way home. I put a holding deposit down to secure the car. Came to see the car on the weekend there was no pressure and he has gone above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything. Golf gte had failed its turbo having its shaft snap leaking oil to the catalyst and debris found in the Inlet manifold Warranty out just by less than a week on the breakdown and visit However 2.5 weeks later and a reduced bill what could of been £4500 ended up at £777 with a dsg service included, so, a pretty good run in the end. Very much impressed, shows there is superb customer service from main dealer expectations Future vehicles will be purchased and maintained from here on out Thanks again Lydia and the technicians at jcb medway 👌

Found a used car on autotrader from this dealer. Spoke to Alex Goodger and placed a holding deposit with him on the car. Went to the to see and drive the car before Easter. Alex was my only contact at this dealer and he came across honest, no pressure tactics and answered your queries in a clear and concise way. Product knowledge very good as his sales style. He was very easy to speak to and friendly. For me this is the kind of dealer I would like to meet when buying a car. Sadly we had a change of heart during Easter break and did not go through with the purchase. Deposit was quickly refunded which was much appreciated. Alex, thank you for your time and sorry we did not take the car.

Vw prices but go above and beyond distance and have done for some 20 years asscociation. Jcb have never failed me. On the very few small occassions when a part was fitted and it failed, immediately jcb had the problem fixed. As a driving instructor, the main bearings failed on a warranted diesel polo on xmas eve some ten years ago. Even with xmas in the way i had an upgraded staff loan car, and the car returned by early new years eve with a brand new engine. Excepetional service!

Called this VW Dealership yesterday, Monday afternoon 29th June, & spoke with Ian regarding part exchanging my present VW for an ex-demo 2019 VW Up. Ian promptly came back to me with an extremely attractive offer & taking care of everything in the new "contactless" way even to taking care of delivery by transporter to me 210 miles North. Excellent service with these guys especially Ian [old school style, his words], his colleague Paul & including a truly fabulous lady receptionist who was amazingly helpful & warm natured. Big thank you to everybody here. For any future purchases I'll always go first to these guys.

I can’t praise their service highly enough. When we first visited JCB Medway to look at changing my wife’s car Ian Dibben was so helpful and knowledgeable but without being pushy. He said he was always available to chat or offer advice if we needed it. Since then we have contacted the parts department to get a new wing mirror and they fitted it for us too for no extra cost and also gave some extra tips on vehicle security. They are all passionate about VW cars! Yesterday the car was serviced. I got straight through on the phone to make the booking and was told what service was due and how much it would cost. Even with the current Covid crisis their service was excellent. I would highly recommend this dealership over other ones locally.

What a Great Experience....... Was looking for a Tiguan went to see Sanj, and told him what I wanted and could afford. He handled my wishes with great expertise and got me the car I wanted for the price I could afford. Thanks to Paul and Graham for enabling the swift trade in of my Audi in exchange for a 19 plate Golf, allowing me to get out of my PCP and giving me a great quality car to own. The only dealer I visited (we went to about 8!) that listened to my needs, didn't push me, and even stayed late on a Sunday to allow me to test drive the vehicle and complete the purchase, making me feel valued through the whole process. The car itself is fantastic quality, a pleasure to drive, and is perfect for my needs, and the whole process took only 4 days from seeing the car to collection, which is amazing for such a busy dealership. Glad we returned to JCB after my husband's great experience with the Ashford Honda branch - great to find a dealer that cares about the customer experience, and I left with absolute confidence in both the car and the service received. Will be back in 5 years time for an upgrade no doubt!

Bought a demonstrator Golf GTD in January 2014 and although I changed it for a GTI in January 2016 and live in Tunbridge Wells 30 miles away JCB continue to service it and store and swap winter wheels!! Excellent service all round from Sanj, from first visit when we were just looking and making up our minds (no hard sell, just genuine help and advice), to our return and placing an order. Contact throughout order process, and the track your vehicle order app was great. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming.

At last a VW dealer who responds to email/their website. The service on my GTE was booked efficiently and a reminder sent the night before. No need to use the phone at any point. They expected me when I arrived, offered coffee and then returned the car within the suggested timeline (i waited as the service was carried out) and also asked if i wanted the car washed (no point it was raining). The lady who handled the booking was pleasant and efficient and best of all the brake fluid was changed as part of my service plan. I used JCB as I won't use any member of my more local Group One Automotive franchises (all of Beadles) due to their very poor service (who said American owned companies can do customer service - they can't). Well done JCB and see you in 2020.

I recently was in for a service on my VW up. What fantastic service, I went to another garage for my last service and had the most appalling experience. Have had my up! serviced here for four years now and all the work's always been performed on time and to a high standard. The dealership itself is well presented with a good selection of cars on offer. Service team always helpful, prices are competitive, and I've had no major problems with the car in the time I've owned it.

After phoning 13 VW garages for urgent help VW Medway not only helped within a short space of time ( as long as I left the car with them ) they even gave me a lift to the station ; updated me before they closed and had the car ready the next day. After the initial negotiating of whether or not they would rectify their mistake at a time that was convenient to myself ,in not turning off my service warning light when my car had it's service ,all was well . Anyone would think we had made the error. Could do with improving their customer service.

This is the second time I've got my car here over the years. First class service , none of your pushy sales rubbish just down to earth , what you need - is met . Absolutely amazing service done at JCB Medway. The staff were very helpful and lovely, I waited whilst my car was being serviced and was looked after very well by all members of staff. Excellent experience, both with sales and service. I am under no pressure to get a sale, and I go in and discuss what requirements I want, and I have even been talked out of an option if they thought I didn't really need it, bringing the cost down. Most services can be carried out while you wait. They is complimentary drinks available from a machine, plus bottled water and Coca-Cola in a fridge.

I have to say I have used JCB Medway for over 12 years and I have always found them willing to listen to me and accommodate my personal needs. Perhaps you can get work done on the cheap elsewhere but for a Main Dealership they approach and address customers requirements effectively, looking for the correct outcome for you and your car.

Appalling service staff can never give a straight answer. I have never, in 44 years of motoring experienced a dealer as good as JCB VW. Their service plans are the best and their customer service is excellent. I never thought I would say this about a car dealer, but I trust them. Their customer service is so good that I would only buy a car from a JCB company as other dealerships are disappointing.. Regrettably, JCB have modified their service plans so they are now only average value. Their customer service is still good, but with the current service plans I will no longer get my car serviced there.
