My daughter’s new car had to go back for a second time for more work to be done, after talking to Michael Carmen he reassured us he would get it back on the road as soon as he could. We received a beautiful bunch of flowers, a lovely hamper and chocolates, he really has gone above and beyond. We would highly recommend the Ashford team.

We hired a VW for several weeks and needed to add two drivers to the policy at various times. We had a brand new car, the price was very reasonable and the service from Carol Mervin the Rental Supervisor quite exceptional. I can’t recommend the car rentals highly enough. Give them a go. I arranged to collect a company fleet car from the showroom, organising pickup was straightforward and seamless. When I arrived with my family, we were presented with Duplo and teddies for our children, making us feel so welcoming. The salesman showed me how to operate the car and took me for a test drive, which was great since it was the first time driving an electric car. An excellent experience all around!

We brought our Tiguan from JCB Ashford in June 2020 and haven't looked back. It's a beautful car and the service from Summer, one of the managers there was first class. Since then, we have had our car serviced there each year and the service team have been superb. Just this month, the car was due for its first MOT and the whole process was pretty seamless. Hayley in particular was 100% spot on with regards customer service, response time, attitude and professionalism. Hayley made the whole process easy and manageable from start to finish. My car required a major engine repair and was in the garage for a month. They were very good in communicating to me the progress of the repair. Communication is key and they were excellent. The job took slightly longer than expected but it was due to parts availability too which I was notified. I will now be using them for all servicing needs. I recommend them highly as I could not fault them.

I had a very personal issue to attend and the car engine alarm came on. I explained the situation to the service team, namely Hayley and I was really pleased when told to bring it over and we will look at it. Cutting to the chase, between Hayley & Nicola the car was checked advise given, courtesy car arranged and our car repaired and ready to collect by 1400 the next day !!!!! Staff are a credit to your company (Ashford branch). I had a motorcycle battery problem and was stranded, I popped in and asked if someone could charge my battery to limp me onto the garage 10 mins away and your staff were AMAZING ! Fantastic service from Michael Carman and his team in the Service Department at JCB Ashford! Having owned a number of cars over the years and experiencing bad service from other brands (Mercedes, Audi & Ford to name a few), the way you are treated at JCB Volkswagen from the moment you walk in is how other dealerships should set their standard. They are welcoming, have a good waiting area and keep you updated with ongoing works and any things that need tending to when checking the car over. When walking around the showroom, the salesmen are not pushy and just there if you need them, which again really differs from other experiences I've had. Had a defect with a used VW Polo purchased from JCB Ashford. On initial investigation the defect (central locking) couldn't be located but a couple of additional faults were detected after diagnostic testing. Initially unhappy about how to go about rectifying the issue I met Nicola Parr, Senior Service Advisor. Nicola made it quite clear from the off that she would take personal responsibility for getting to the bottom of the issue when the vehicle was booked back in for the additional defects to be repaired. Nicola kept me updated at regular intervals and provided me with a convenient date/time once the parts arrived. She also a arranged for a courtesy car '22 plate VW Golf' as it was explained that they may need some time to identify the issue. I now have my VW Polo back. The defects have all been identified and replaced and all covered under the warranty. Nicola took all the stress and hassle out of the process for me. I genuinely felt I was going to have a battle on my hands to get it sorted under warranty. Nicola thank you so much for restoring my faith in customer service. As above, she owned the problem and was true to her word. I would have no hesitation in dealing with Nicola again, but hopefully won't have to. Nicola is an asset to VW and should be praised for her outstanding customer service!!

Just wanted to thank Nicola the service manager who has been absolutely brilliant. I had a stressful time when bringing my car in for a service, due to several miscommunications regarding a service plan and service pricing, which Nicola sorted and then some. I then had two warning lights come on after leaving and Nicola went out of her way, in her own time on a Friday night, to ensure myself and my family were safe driving the car. She arranged for me to come back and dealt with the car and was really helpful and friendly and even gave my little one a toy to play with whilst we waited, which was really kind. She turned what was not a good initial experience to a great one and she’s an asset to VW. Thank you so much. 😊

Faced with part of our VW's front undertray dropping down whilst driving down the M20 , we limped to JCB at Ashford who we knew previously. Faced with two very worried 82 year olds the staff went out of their way to help us , made a quick inspection and organised a repair . We also enjoyed a nice coffee in very comfortable surroundings while we waited. Excellent service and very pleasant people - I wish there was more of it about!

Once again outstanding, amazing and highly efficient service from Nicola and Hayley, together with the tech team at JCB - well above any previous experience anywhere. My Tiguan unexpectedly suffered a technical component failure and was running down to a Full Inspection and Oil Change Service. Despite being short of staff and high demand that meant new work was being booked towards the end of November, I was offered the opportunity to leave the vehicle with them so that should an opportunity arise to fault find and resolve whatever the problem was, they could get on with it. Having accepted the offer to leave the vehicle on site, I was amazed to be advised the next day the fault had been diagnosed, the required part ordered and would hopefully be fitted as soon as it was feasible to do so. The next day I received a call to tell me that the car was repaired and could be collected that afternoon. However, when I collected the vehicle, not only had the repair been completed (under the extended warranty) the impending service actions had also been undertaken so the vehicle was good to go until the MOT fell due in late January. This is what excellent customer service is all about and it was delivered with smiles, impressive courtesy and a positive attitude. I cannot recommend JCB Ashford Service Team highly enough - simply outstanding in every way (and yes I am a loyal, long-standing customer and will continue to be so with such perfect customer service and support).

The service reception (manager?) Nicola, went out of her way to help us find our way around the programming of our new Tiguan. While the systems are meant to be intuitive it still needs a lot of practice to find your way through the vast range of options and and systems to set the car up as you want it. Nicola spent a lot of time and patience helping us to do some of the key requirements. We will be very happy to continue using JCB Ashford VW as a consequence.

Brilliant outfit. Our ID3 and ID4 both needed significant software upgrades that take 24-48hours each. The customer service in arranging them to minimise the impact on us was superb, kind, flexible and we really felt the people we were dealing with cared. I moved to the area and took my car here for a service. Booking was easy and check in staff were friendly and helpful. The car also needed brake fluid changed and aircon flushing. All this was done promptly and efficiently. I was pleased to get the video of the check over of the underneath of the car, which was clear to hear (which I have had problems with at other garages). A really good experience, I was able to talk through service plan options and felt listened to. I’m pleased to have found a garage that values customers.

I received regular updates from Nicola and Richard, who were always understanding, polite and very informative. I run a day centre, called aArtvark, for students with additional needs and when I picked my car up, I asked Kevin the cost of a model ID3 as one of my students adores my car. Kevin, in agreement with his boss, donated it to me. This meant the world to Andrew, my student. His brother agreed with me to add a photo as he knows what this meant to him. Today I went to VW Ashford, Kent where my car had been booked to be serviced. I arrived sooner than the time of my 1015 am time slot in the hope that the work on my car could be be completed earlier than scheduled. Kevin Jinks helped me with this request and was most courteous and exemplary in understanding my request. This was because I needed to be home by 1245 latest to enable my wife to be in time for a medical appointment at 2pm. Happily the work was completed sooner and I was home just after Midday. Major service today for my car. Big bill, but Service Advisor Kevin Jinks was so helpful at all stages from booking the car in, advising on a problem we were experiencing (and curing it as part of the work, thank you Kevin), keeping in touch through the day etc. This personal touch has not always been my experience at a major dealership. I tried to book a courtesy car but none were available for weeks and weeks so I had to rely on two friends to collect me and return me to the garage, which was inconvenient for them. Next year I will book the service months in advance!

I visited JCB VW Ashford as my newly bought Polo GTI had a fault and was booked in for repair. My car was purchased from another VW branch however, The Ashford team were so accommodating and so kind. In particular Michael, he went above and beyond for us listening to all we had been through with the other branch and he tried to help pick up their mistakes and make sure that we as customers were not left dissatisfied. As an even more unexpected turn, he had ordered my husband and I some wedding presents from the team at JCB VW. As we were due to get married the day after our repair. My VW Golf was due for a service and due to its age, 5 years, a cam belt replacement etc. I visited the service department and met a gentleman named Kevin Jinks who dealt with all of my needs. The service was set up together with the cam belt and the potential for the all-in. Everything was discussed in detail and I fully understood what was to take place. On the agreed day the service and cam belt were done and the all-in check was undertaken in great detail, fortunately nothing was awry! Kevin then sorted all the paperwork etc and I am now covered by the all-in warranty etc. I should add that Kevin is a very thorough and competent chap and explains all in great detail, a very good experience, thank you.

Really good 👍 I have recently bought a new car from here. This is my second car from here, i stayed with them after a good service first time round. Again the service was great. The sales representative Shawn was a pleasure to do business with and help from the manager was also appreciated. Shawn covered everything for me and found the car i was looking for - i'm over the moon with it. They have a good range of approved used cars and new, covering all different transmission types. Laurence Coleman was absolutely fantastic from my initial enquiry, through until even after I had picked up the vehicle. Professional yet personal service. Unfortunately, the car developed an issue recently, but thanks to VW's 12 year anti corrosion warranty, and the amazing service of Michael C. Quality of work and customer service are very good. Only reason I have left 4 instead of 5, is that VW used to offer a collect/deliver service but don't appear to do this any longer (I only live a few miles away). I can't use a courtesy car as vw don't do adapted vehicles, so I found the delivery and collection service extremely useful.

Poor customer facilities. VW Ashford compares badly with VW Worthing and VW Eastbourne in facilities for people waiting while their service is done or fault investigated. Three small tables with hard chairs (until I was told about more comfortable seating around the corner in the main showroom) had to be shared with four other customers. No screens to partition the waiting area from the rest of the showroom. Just one newspaper to be shared between us all. The usual television with muted and subtitled news programming was missing (one was available in the main showroom but it was switched off). Two to three hours is a long time to wait in these circumstances. However the servicing itself was of the usual VW high standard.

My wife and I recently purchased our second Volkswagen from JCB Volkswagen Ashford after needing a bigger car due to expecting our first child and I am thrilled with the service provided. We originally had a 2008 Golf however we thought we would upgrade to a Passat and trade in the Golf. We were surprised with the good value they gave us for the Golf and the overall experience we had; they even showed us the safest way to put a child's car seat in.
