This is the first electrified vehicle in the Dacia UK range - a veritable milestone!
Using an advanced petrol/electric drivetrain, the Jogger HYBRID 140 is a great value addition to the Dacia range.
The Dacia Jogger HYBRID 140 uses a normally aspirated 90hp 1.6 litre petrol engine alongside twin electric motors (50hp engine and a high voltage starter/generator) and a 1.2kWh (230 V) battery. The drivetrain also features a multi-mode automatic transmission for 2-pedal drive. The brake mode allows regenerative braking, optimising energy recovery.
The Jogger HYBRID 140 is available in 'Expression' and 'Extreme SE' trims. The specifications are as per the petrol versions, but with the addition of a hybrid-specific 7" TFT instrument panel. The instrument panel displays information about the powertrain, such as the charge status and whether the vehicle is currently being powered by the battery or by a combination of electric and ICE* power. ('Essential' trim is only available with the TCe110 petrol engine.) The HYBRID 140 is available in a new, exclusive colour - Shadow Grey.
No! it does not need to be plugged in. The two electric motors and combustion engine work together to provide the power - you do still have to fill up with petrol though! The Jogger HYBRID 140 always starts in electric mode. Eco mode can be selected to economise on power. 'B' mode allows battery recharging on braking or deceleration.
As with the ICE* version of the Jogger, the HYBRID 140 comes with 7 seats, giving plenty of space for passengers. Integrated roof bars allow extra luggage space or the ability to fit a roof box. A multimedia interface will let you stay connected.
