CUPRA Electric Car Grant Now Available

Enjoy a £1,500 saving on a wide range of CUPRA's award-winning cars

The UK Government has announced a new Electric Car Grant Scheme to offer discounts to retail purchasers of some battery electric vehicles which meet criteria relating to pricing and environmental impact (among others).

A number of CUPRA Born cars have met the 'Band 2' criteria, so you can enjoy a £1,500 saving on a wide range of CUPRA's award-winning vehicles.

and CUPRA Born V3

The £1,500 discount will be automatically applied, where the final purchase price is less than £42,000, by the CUPRA Retailer at point of order. You don't need to do anything - just enjoy your dream electric car at an even more attractive price.

The OZEV has announced that the following CUPRA Born model year 2027 vehicles are also eligible for the Government's Electric Car Grant at a £1,500 discount:

CUPRA BORN WARRANTY

ALL CUPRA ELECTRIC VEHICLES COME WITH A HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY WARRANTY THAT LASTS FOR 8 YEARS OR UP TO 100,000 MILES, WHICHEVER COMES FIRST, PROTECTING AGAINST ALL MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP DEFECTS.

CUPRA vehicles purchased with the UK government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) electric car grant from 2025 onwards have two further benefits.

1. Additional coverage for your high-voltage battery warranty. If your high-voltage battery drops below 80% capacity within three years or 40,000 miles whichever comes first), or below 70% during the remaining warranty period, we’ll repair or replace at no additional cost, keeping your CUPRA performing at its best.

2. Option to extend the high-voltage battery warranty once cover ends. For extra peace of mind, the option to purchase a two-year battery warranty extension. This will be available before your current coverage ends. Find out more in the showroom.

The Electric Car Grant is a UK Government grant to promote the purchase of certain new electric vehicles. The grant is not exclusive to Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited. Selected CUPRA Born models are eligible for this Grant within Band 2, meaning eligible customers purchasing a qualifying vehicle will receive £1,500 off the purchase price. The grant is available when purchasing CUPRA Born V1, V2 or V3 models where the purchase price of the vehicle paid by the customer is below £42,000. The purchase price is defined by the UK Government/OZEV as RRP (incl VAT) plus options, plus VED and minus any cash discounts a Retailer or CUPRA UK may wish to offer. Please speak to your local CUPRA Retailer to clarify the purchase price and subsequent eligibility for your chosen configuration. Grant excludes CUPRA Born VZ models. New cars only. The £1,500 will be automatically deducted from the purchase price for your vehicle on the retail invoice. Any discount or offer will be applied before application of the grant. Your authorised CUPRA retailer will submit the details of your order in order to claim the grant funding.
