The JCB Group Launches Our JCB Leadership Development Programme

We are excited to introduce our latest strategy to retain and promote staff from within the company. You might think that a local and family-owned business may not have as much opportunity for career progression and promotion, but you couldn't be more wrong! Our staff stay because they like the family atmosphere and supportive nature of the company, and, as it is ever expanding with not only new brands but also new initiatives within existing brands, there is plenty of opportunity for a varied and rewarding career.

The Leadership Development Programme has been designed for new managers or those staff that are on a journey to become future JCB managers. There are 9 modules in total, each module lasts one full day, and each covers a different area of management to help enhance the skill base.

The first set of 12 candidates joining the Leadership Development Programme are pictured and once all 9 modules are completed, by the middle of next year, then we will start the process again with another group of staff.

Learning on the job allows immediate practical application of skills learned, and the camaraderie of learning with a bunch of your fellow colleagues is a great way to establish links across the organisation that will be harmonious in years to come.
