The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points, for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations.

The EV chargepoint grant provides funding of up to 75% towards the cost of installing electric vehicle smart chargepoints at domestic properties across the UK. It replaced the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) on 1 April 2022.You may qualify for the EVHS grant which provides 75% up to a maximum of £350 towards the cost of a home wallbox installation.
Please be aware that this grant is ending for homeowners (single-unit properties) with effect from 31st March 2022. This is the final date for installations under this scheme.
The scheme will remain open to homeowners who live in flats and people in rental accommodation (flats and single-use properties).
