JCB Group Expands Volkswagen Presence in Kent with Acquisition of Canterbury Volkswagen.

We are delighted to announce the acquisition of the assets of Euro Canterbury Volkswagen’s Volkswagen Passenger Car business, TPS Centre, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Authorised Repairer and Suzuki Aftersales Speicalist operations.

• This exciting development marks another significant milestone for our family-run business and further strengthens our position as one of the leading Volkswagen retailer groups in Kent. The acquisition expands our Volkswagen network and allows us to provide even greater support to Volkswagen customers across Canterbury, Kent and the surrounding areas.

  Located on Broad Oak Road, the newly acquired site will now operate as JCB Volkswagen Canterbury, becoming our fifth Volkswagen Passenger Car location in Kent. The Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Authorised Repairer operation will be renamed JCB Van Service Centre Canterbury.

  The addition of Volkswagen Canterbury to our network reinforces our commitment to providing county-wide representation for Volkswagen in Kent. Alongside our existing Volkswagen retailers in Ashford, Medway, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, JCB Volkswagen Canterbury will offer customers access to new and used Volkswagen vehicles, servicing, MOTs, repairs, genuine Volkswagen parts and manufacturer-trained technicians.

  The acquisition also includes Canterbury TPS, establishing the JCB Group as the only TPS Trade Parts Specialists representative in Kent. This strengthens our ability to support independent garages, bodyshops and trade customers throughout the county with genuine Volkswagen Group parts and expert support.

  In addition, the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Authorised Repairer operation enhances our position as Kent’s only dedicated Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle specialist for both Sales and Aftersales support. Through JCB Van Service Centre Canterbury, we will continue to support local businesses and van customers with servicing, maintenance, repairs and specialist commercial vehicle expertise. This site is also home to a Suzuki Aftersales Specialist, providing expert servicing, genuine parts and aftersales support for Suzuki owners.

  While the acquisition strengthens our Volkswagen presence in Kent, it is equally about people. We are delighted to welcome our new colleagues in Canterbury to the JCB Group.
