Workshop Controller required at JCB Volkswagen in Tunbridge Wells, Kent

About the role...

Reporting to the Service Manager, key objectives of the role include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure efficient workshop use of materials, equipment and labour so service and repairs are carried out to the highest quality standards
• Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and retain existing custom through the workshop
• Improve the future labour levels by consulting and co-operating with after-sales reception staff and the Service Manager/Operations Manager
• Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with JCB Group’s, manufacturer and industry guidelines
• Help JCB Group to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency and cost control

Measures:

• Labour sales to achieve budget
• Margins to achieve budget
• Cost control
• Productivity / efficiency / utilisation of workshop against target
• VQM / JCB Group audit against standards and guidelines
• Customer satisfaction:
  • CEM
  • Retention (repeat purchase)

About you...

You will be experienced, highly organised and pragmatic. You will have strong people and communication skills, first class customer focus with the ability to learn new processes and systems with ease. The ideal applicant will have a Volkswagen Audi Group (VAG) or a Main Dealer background and will complement and strengthen our busy workshop.
