In a nutshell:
Customers who purchased or are in the process of purchasing an e-HYBRID are now eligible for the £350 Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) grant towards the cost of a home wall box to charge their car. Pod Point is CUPRA’s recommended supplier but customers can choose from any office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) approved suppliers and installers. The cost for a 3.6KW Pod Point wall box is £849 (inc. VAT and installation), reducing to £499 with the EVHS grant. This wall box will fully charge an e-HYBRID battery in around 3 and a half hours. If customers wish to future proof their home for future electric vehicle ownership, they can choose to invest in a wall box with higher charging capacity.
