Certain newer cars are fitted with a new technology system - SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) - that helps to reduce harmful exhaust emissions and therefore comply with the new EU6 regulations. Your vehicle may have a filler cap similar to those pictured above. You may also notice a warning message coming up on your dashboard reminding you of an Ad Blue refill being required.
Some vehicles have fillers that are difficult to locate, possibly in the boot space, and Ad Blue is a corrosive, so you will also need to be careful using it.
