If there’s one car that can match the Golf GTI, it’s another GTI. So Volkswagen bring you the GTI standard and the GTI Performance.
The uniform shape is leaner, longer and faster, powered by a turbo-charged, direct-injection petrol engine with 6-speed gearbox. The standard GTI accelerates from 0 – 62 in 6.5 seconds (162KW/220 PS) while the GTI Performance clocks in at 0 – 62 in 6.4 seconds. It also has larger disc brakes and a mechanical limited-slip differential. Fuel efficiency means up to 44.1 mpg in the standard GTI and 44.1 mpg in the Performance. Standard spec sets new standards. With chrome tailpipes, sports suspension, 18-inch ‘Austin’ alloys, smoked LED rear lights, Bi-Xenon headlights, sports seats, bespoke steering wheel, gear lever and instrument cluster and stainless steel pedal caps.
